Cozy bar, friendly atmosphere, good food, consistently so. A solid choice in the neighborhood. Went by chance for happy hour last week, one of the better ones in town.

This review is only based on their brunch, specifically a drag brunch. My friend and I attended a drag brunch here and it was phenomenal. From the service to the show to the service. I ordered a Bloody Mary and BEC buns. I also had some of the in-house made hot sauce. Everything was delicious! Really good flavor throughout. Our server, who I think was maybe the manger/owner also was great. Very good at clearing off the table and refilling drinks. He was also taking care of every table. The show was also very good. I would absolutely return to try other buns and definitely some ramen!

The food is wonderful, the people are very friendly. Highly recommended. Every time we go there we try different rules and have not had a bad one yet!

After a Sunday softball game in Amityville, we dropped into Bakuto in Lindenhurst for a late lunch. Ambience: a lot of art and manga theme, with classic 80's pop music playing overhead. The decor is straight out of something you would find in the Village in Manhattan. Food: more than the usual buns and ramen. We had the: Tokyo Dog - a premium hot dog topped with pickled cabbage, teriyaki and Thai chili. A nice Asian twist to a traditional American staple. 4/5 French Fries - really dry and starchy. Tasted like a new flavor of Cheetos. 2/5 Bakuto Pork Ramen - a shoyu ramen. Hard to go wrong with a hot bowl of ramen and slices of miso cured pork belly 4/5 Confit Chicken Rice Bowl - pieces of pulled chicken served over rice and pickled veggies. The chicken was tender but flavor was lacking 3/5
